Great Content Brings You Great Readership And Quality Traffic

Filed under: Blogging — PiperFair @ 2:22 am

Lately I’m managing quite a few blogs to advertise my own website, wordpress based blogs are obvious and easy choice for me, so far we all agree that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the most favored blogging kit around the globe.

After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because subsequently I can use my own blogs to promote my other websites, this is not something new, the existence of blog networks already says it all, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, obviously I will have to pay the owner to use their blogs, probably not cheap at all.

Its quite difficult to manage more than a few blogs manually, if you want values for your blogs, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, you have to put in time and money to build a successful blog. There are some interesting examples, such as this one, Delicious Chinese Food, the domain name is pretty good, the content on the site is not bad, since this is not a themed blog, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. One more example, Ratchet Tie Downs Work Better, this blog has a theme, all posts are following the same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. I can show you a lot more sites, though I guess you get the point already. Last but not least, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, do some casual postings randomly, take one blog as example, Commercial WP Plugins, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.

If you have a few established blogs already, probably you can add a few more blogs to your arsenal, use the old ones to promote the new ones, get your own little blog network going is not that too difficult. Of course its just the beginning, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, there’s one thing you do have to remember is that don’t ruin your hard work just because you want to cut a few corners.
